ISP Proxy

A static IP assigned by a real ISP but hosted on datacenter infrastructure - combining residential trust scores with datacenter performance.

ISP proxies (also called static residential proxies) are IP addresses that belong to residential ISP ASNs - Comcast, BT, Deutsche Telekom - but run on datacenter servers. The ISP assigns the IP block, but the actual server sits in a commercial datacenter.

This combination gives you two things at once: the trust score of a residential IP (the ASN lookup shows an ISP, not a cloud provider) and the speed of datacenter infrastructure (no routing through actual home devices).

Websites that check ASN type see a residential ISP and treat the request as legitimate. You get gigabit server speeds without the latency of routing through home connections.

ISP proxies are static - the IP does not change between sessions. This is useful when you need a consistent identity across multiple sessions: account management, long-running sessions, or tasks where IP continuity matters over days or weeks.

The main use cases are sneaker bots (where speed + trust score matters for checkout flows), social media management (consistent IP per account), and any task where you need the trust of residential IPs with the performance of datacenter infrastructure.

Residential paperwork, datacenter hardware

Every IP address belongs to an autonomous system, and the registry records who that is. A datacenter address traces back to a hosting company. A residential address traces back to a consumer internet provider. Sites that block automation lean heavily on that lookup, because it is cheap, fast and requires no analysis of your behaviour.

An ISP proxy exploits the gap between registration and location. The address is registered to a consumer provider, so the lookup returns a residential result, but the machine answering on it sits in a datacenter with proper uplinks and no household bandwidth limits.

That gives it a combination the other types cannot match: the trust level of residential, the speed and uptime of datacenter, and a static address that does not change. The trade is availability. These addresses exist only where a provider was willing to lease consumer space to a hosting operation, which is why the country list is shorter than for plain datacenter addresses.

Because they are static and dedicated, they behave like an identity rather than a resource. That makes them the natural fit for accounts, and a poor fit for wide scraping where you want many exits rather than one good one.

  • Renewal covers a whole order at once, so split a large fleet into several orders if you expect to release part of it later.
  • Turn on auto-renew for anything holding an account. An expired address returns to the provider pool and you will not get the same one back.
  • Match the address country to the account history. A German address on an account that always logged in from Poland reads as a takeover.
  • One address per profile. Two accounts sharing an ISP address is the cheapest link a platform can compute, and it takes both down together.
