Proxy for Avito
Avito does not refuse a server address the way eBay does. It serves you, counts, and then puts up a captcha page that names your IP as the problem. The useful question is therefore not which address type to buy but how many addresses your pace requires, and we measured that rather than guessing.
What we measured
- It answers a flagged address with a captcha, not a refusal. The page is titled "access restricted: IP problem", arrives with HTTP 429 rather than 403, and its own advice to the visitor is to switch off the VPN, restart the router and run an antivirus scan. That wording tells you exactly what Avito thinks has gone wrong.
- One address does not last long. With twenty seconds between requests, a single datacenter address was served four times and then met the captcha on the fifth and sixth. In an earlier run with no gap at all, it appeared on the first request. One address, one afternoon, and worth repeating from your own network before you plan anything.
- The address type was not what decided it. The same address that hit the captcha also returned the homepage normally minutes earlier. That is the opposite of what we measured on eBay, where a datacenter address never got a page at all, and it changes what is worth buying here.
- Its robots.txt is built around two search engines. Yandex and Googlebot each get their own section, alongside the general wildcard and two advertising agents. The wildcard section runs to 139 rules, of which 39 target query parameters rather than paths, and it disallows the API and profile areas while leaving listing and city pages alone.

Because the constraint is pace rather than address class, the sizing question matters more here than the product question.

The practical consequence of the measurement is a budgeting one. Work out how many requests an hour you need, divide by what one address actually survives on your own network, and you have the size of the order. Doing that arithmetic before buying is the whole point of this page.
Setting it up
Avito has no proxy setting. The proxy goes into the client doing the reading, or into the browser profile holding an account.

done- Count the captcha as a signal, not an error to retry through. Hitting it repeatedly from the same address is how a temporary flag becomes a persistent one.
- Pace first, addresses second. A slower crawl across fewer addresses often survives better than a fast one across many, and it costs less.
- For account work, remember the one hour ceiling on a residential session, and that we have no ISP or mobile in Russia to sell you as the steadier alternative.
- Match the region to what you are checking. A Moscow exit and a Novosibirsk exit are looking at different listings and different prices.

Where people go wrong
Buying a better address instead of more addresses
The captcha followed request count, not address class, in everything we measured. Upgrading the product does not move a counter that is counting requests.
Retrying straight through the captcha
It arrives as a 429, which looks retryable and is not. Hammering the same address after it appears is how a short flag turns into a long one.
Ignoring the region
Avito is organised by city and region. A technically successful request from the wrong region returns the wrong listings and the wrong prices, which is a silent failure rather than a loud one.
Expecting a static Russian address from us
We have residential and datacenter in Russia and neither ISP nor mobile. Anyone who needs a fixed consumer Russian address should know that before ordering.
What a proxy will not do here
It will not stop the captcha appearing, because what triggers it is how many requests an address makes rather than what kind of address it is. It will not give you a stable Russian consumer address, because we do not sell one. What it does is let you spread a given amount of work across enough addresses that each one stays under the threshold, and let you see Avito from the region you are actually interested in. This page is short on policy detail because Avito served us its captcha instead of its terms of use every time we asked for them, and we do not quote documents we have not read.

Does Avito block proxies?
Not outright, in our test. A datacenter address was served the homepage normally several times, then met a captcha page carrying HTTP 429 and titled "access restricted: IP problem". The same address worked again afterwards. What it reacts to is the number of requests from an address, not the fact that it is a proxy.
How many requests can one IP make to Avito?
In our measurement, four at twenty second intervals before the captcha appeared on the fifth. With no gap at all it appeared immediately. That is one address on one afternoon, so run the loop on this page from your own network before you size anything.
Which proxy is best for Avito?
Rotating residential in Russia, because the constraint is requests per address and rotation is what spreads them. Regional selection matters too, since Avito shows different listings and prices by city.
Can I get a static Russian IP from you for an Avito account?
No. In Russia we sell residential and datacenter, not ISP or mobile. The nearest thing is a residential session, which holds one exit for up to an hour and ends sooner if the household device goes offline.
Why does Avito say the problem is my IP?
Because that is what its interstitial says in so many words. The page tells the visitor to switch off the VPN, restart the router and run an antivirus scan, which is Avito telling ordinary users that the address they arrived from is what it objected to.
What do Avito’s terms say about scraping?
We do not know, because we could not read them. Every request we made for the terms of use returned the captcha instead of the document. We are not going to summarise a page we have never seen.
