Your IP address is the public number your internet provider assigns to your connection. Every website you visit sees it, and it reveals your approximate location and network operator (ASN). The tool above shows your current IP along with its city, country and ISP.
WebRTC is a browser feature for real-time audio and video. It can expose your real IP address directly to a website, bypassing a proxy or VPN, because it talks to STUN servers outside the normal proxy tunnel. If the leak test above shows a public IP different from your connection IP, websites can see your true address even when you use a proxy.
A browser fingerprint is the combination of signals your browser exposes - screen size, timezone, language, GPU, installed fonts, canvas rendering and more. Together they are often unique enough to identify you across sessions without cookies. Changing your IP does not change your fingerprint, which is why serious multi-account setups pair proxies with an anti-detect browser.
A proxy changes the IP address websites see, but it does not change your browser fingerprint or stop WebRTC leaks by itself. For full isolation, use a proxy together with an anti-detect browser (like GoLogin, Multilogin or Dolphin Anty) and disable WebRTC or route it through the proxy.
