Panama proxies
Our catalogue lists six of Panama’s ten provinces, 10 city records and 12 networks. Panama City holds ten networks, eight of them only there, David three, the other seven cities one each. Both of the country’s carriers are in the pool: Cable & Wireless, also known as Más Móvil, in five cities, Tigo in three. And what we checked ourselves: Panama is one of the most closed countries in our measurements, only 13 of 24 well known Panamanian sites opened, and Tigo, Encuentra24, Riba Smith, PedidosYa, Copa and Banco Nacional refuse a foreign address.
What we have in Panama
The price is the same as in every other country we cover.
What Panamanian addresses get used for
Classifieds
Encuentra24: closed from outside by a Cloudflare block, strictly a local-address job.
Delivery and retail
PedidosYa, Riba Smith, Super 99: none of the three serves a page to a foreign address.
Banks and payments
Banco General, Banistmo, Banco Nacional, Yappy, PagueloFacil: Banco Nacional is closed, the rest is open.
Airlines
Copa Airlines, Tocumen airport: Copa meets a foreigner with a bot check, Tocumen is open.
Ad verification and search results
La Prensa, TVN, Telemetro, Crítica, La Estrella, google.com.pa: all open.
What looks different from outside Panama
Of 24 sites we checked, 13 opened on the first request. Eight refused, one failed the certificate check, two did not answer. We sell addresses rather than a way past detection.
What a residential address gives you here
Cities people ask for here
A city is set with the _city_ suffix, with spaces replaced by hyphens. The number beside it is how many networks our pool holds there.
The setups people take here most often
- 01Residential plus Panama CityTen networks and the only real rotation across autonomous systems
- 02Residential with Cable & Wireless pinnedFive cities on the largest carrier
- 03Residential with Tigo pinnedThree cities, the second carrier
- 04A one hour sticky sessionFor banks, Yappy and dashboards
Connection strings for Panama
The country is pinned with a suffix in the login. Host, port and password stay the same as for any other country.
A city goes in as a second suffix, with spaces replaced by hyphens. Without it you most often get Panama City, which is right for most jobs. David and Colón are for when the target looks at the province.
Panamanian exits, four ways
# rotating, a new address per request
curl -x login_c_PA:password@proxy.sotaproxy.com:10000 https://api.ipify.org
# sticky, the same address for an hour
curl -x login_c_PA_s_7_ttl_1h:password@proxy.sotaproxy.com:10000 https://api.ipify.org
# pinned to Panama City, ten networks
curl -x login_c_PA_city_Panama-City:password@proxy.sotaproxy.com:10000 https://api.ipify.org
# SOCKS5 on the same port: the scheme picks the protocol, not the number
curl -x socks5h://login_c_PA:password@proxy.sotaproxy.com:10000 https://api.ipify.orgTwo carriers under several names
After Claro and Digicel left, Panama has two carriers, and both are in the pool. Cable & Wireless Panama is present in five cities out of nine and is the only network in three; the same group appears in the catalogue under the names Más Móvil and Liberty Technologies in Panama City as well. Tigo in three cities, with its former cable brand Cable Onda as a separate record in the capital.
Then Telca in three cities, Celero and Internet Activo in one each. Three networks are not home connections: the Technological University of Panama, the wholesale operator Ufinet, and Starlink, which geolocates loosely. By unique company the count is about nine.
For a job that means something simple: pin Cable & Wireless or Tigo and you get a home look in any city of the catalogue.
Panama City holds ten networks out of 12
The catalogue names six provinces out of ten: Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Chiriquí, Colón, Veraguas and Bocas del Toro. The capital holds ten networks, eight of them only there. David three, and in seven cities out of nine exactly one network is available: Colón, La Chorrera, Arraiján, Santiago, Bocas del Toro, Corozal and Dolega.
For a job that means: Panama in our pool is the capital. The rest gives the right province but no rotation inside it.
Thirteen sites out of 24 open, eleven do not
We checked 24 well known Panamanian domains from Europe with a full browser header set, on 16 October 2026. Thirteen opened: the Banco General and Banistmo banks, the banking superintendency, Yappy, PagueloFacil, the DGI tax office, PanamaCompra, Tocumen airport, and the La Prensa, TVN, Telemetro, Crítica and La Estrella outlets.
Eleven did not, which makes this one of the most closed countries in our measurements. Tigo, Encuentra24 and Riba Smith answered with a Cloudflare block page on the address. PedidosYa and Banco Nacional served a 403, the Tribunal Electoral a Cloudflare challenge, Copa a bot check with status 401, and Super 99 a page under status 405. Más Móvil failed the certificate check. BAC and the panama.gob.pa portal did not answer within 60 seconds.
The practical conclusion: banks, government sites and publishers are open from outside, and an address there is for local conditions. Classifieds, delivery, retail, Tigo and Copa are closed, and there a Panamanian address is for access.
What Panamanian sites check beyond the address
The language is Spanish. One pass.
The currency is the US dollar: the balboa exists only as coins and is pegged one to one, and prices on sites are in dollars with the $ or B/. sign. A comma for thousands and a dot for cents.
The time zone is UTC−5 with no daylight saving. The weekend is Saturday and Sunday.
How stable the exits are here
In Panama City there is something to switch to and sessions hold. Across the rest of the country there are one to three networks per city, and no rotation inside the city.
On size, plainly: 12 networks by name, about nine unique, two carriers holding the country. Plan your load against the capital and pin the carrier for everything outside it.
Choosing the setup for a Panamanian target
The short fork.
- You need rotation across autonomous systems: Panama City unpinned, ten networks.
- You need a carrier across several cities: Cable & Wireless, five cities.
- You need the second carrier: Tigo, three cities.
- The target is closed from outside: country level, which is Encuentra24, PedidosYa, Riba Smith, Tigo, Copa.
- You need a bank or Yappy dashboard: a one hour sticky session and a Panamanian cédula.
What a month of Panamanian work costs
It is counted in traffic. A dollar per gigabyte.
- Monitoring Encuentra24 listings, 20,000 a day with images blocked, roughly 110 KB per page: about 2.2 GB a day, around 66 GB a month, $66 on residential.
- A daily sweep of one Encuentra24 category: a few gigabytes.
- Ad verification, 200 placements a day at about 400 KB each: under 2.5 GB a month.
The legal part, stated plainly
Panama has Law 81 of 2019 on personal data protection, supervised by ANTAI. Collecting publicly posted prices and processing personal data are different things, and the second is regulated separately.
Communications are regulated by ASEP. A proxy changes none of what you are allowed to do with data. It changes only which country the request appears to come from.
This is general information rather than legal advice. Our terms require lawful use and we act on abuse reports.
Verifying a Panamanian exit
Under a minute. The third command shows whether Encuentra24 opens through the exit: a foreign address got a block.
Three checks
# 1. is the exit Panamanian, and on which network
curl -s -x login_c_PA_city_Panama-City:password@proxy.sotaproxy.com:10000 https://ipinfo.io/json
# 2. does a sticky session hold the same address
for i in 1 2 3; do curl -s -x login_c_PA_s_7_ttl_1h:password@proxy.sotaproxy.com:10000 https://api.ipify.org; echo; done
# 3. does the blocked classifieds site open through the exit

Where the numbers come from
The numbers on provinces, cities and networks come from our residential pool catalogue as of 16 October 2026. Service entries with no city name are not counted. We ran the check on 24 Panamanian domains ourselves from Europe on the same day, with a full browser header set and a 45 second limit per answer.
- ASEP, the Panamanian communications regulatorOfficial carrier data, if you want to check the shape of the market against our pool.
- ANTAIThe supervisor of Law 81 on personal data protection.
- Banco GeneralThe largest bank, open from outside, unlike Banco Nacional.
- La PrensaThe main outlet, open from outside without an address.
